The benefit show for Tom Finley at Paco's Ranch, starring Bohemia Viva with special guest Amy Armstrong, was a huge success with 92 attendees! It was so nice to see the community come together to help one of our own. With a combined total of ticket sales and generous cash donations at the door, we raised 35,766 pesos! This will be a huge help to Tom!
Thanks to John King, Benito Enano Aleman and all the staff at Pacos for letting us use their space for the show.
Thank you to Tracy Parks and Beverly Fairfax for the hard work putting together the show, publicity and promotion.
Thanks to Luis and Andrea Bohemia Viva for donating and sharing your talent with us.
Amy Armstrong thanks for been there and singing last night.

Tom Finley, owner of Bar Frida for the past 15 years, is in Vancouver undergoing some very expensive procedures to fix a problem that will allow him to walk again without the pain he's been experiencing for over a year now. His insurance in Canada isn't covering this since he's been here with us in Vallarta for many years. 100% of the money made from ticket sales and donations will go to Tom to help with his bills.
Needless to say, his medical bills are enormous. Please consider a contribution to help us meet our goal of 25k CAD! We're almost there! If you have already contributed, THANK YOU! If you would like to do so now, you can donate here: https://www.gofundme.com/tomfinley.
A silent auction for this just completed original painting (below) by famed international artist Francine Peters was also part of the fundraiser. The painting of Bar Frida captured the eyes and hearts of many, with the winning bid fetching an additional $750 USD. Congrats again to the winners Allen and Nathan, and thank you again Franny for working closely with us and taking the lead on the silent auction.
